COVID - 19 Information
The Scottish government are sending letters directly to patients of very highest risk due to COVID 19 with advice and support due to this pandemic. A clinician from the surgery should also be in contact with you to answer any questions you may have. Please also contact us directly if you have any concerns in the meantime or check out the website https://www.nhsinform.scot
Welcome
With patients' needs at the heart of everything we do, our website has been designed to make it easy for you to gain instant access to the information you need. As well as specific practice details such as opening hours and how to register, you’ll find a wealth of useful pages covering a wide range of health issues along with links to other relevant medical organisations.
TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF ROUTINE APPOINTMENTS
In light of the ongoing COVID-19 panademic the Practice has a plan in place to ensure that we have capacity to deal with patient demand.
We will be running the Practice on a day-to-day basis and if you require medical advice, you should contact Reception by telephone and your call will be directed appropriately. A GP. nurse or in house physiotherapist may call you back. Our reception team may signpost to another health care professional outwith the GP surgery.
If the clinician feels that you should attend the practice there will organise a face to face appointment for you. To protect you and our staff we have organised timed appointments to limit the volume of people in the building at any one time.
Please attend on time - not early for your appointment, come alone and wear a face covering if possible. PLEASE ALSO NOTE THAT YOU MAY, AT TIMES, HAVE TO WAIT OUTSIDE THE SURGERY BUILDING, THEREFORE PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOU ARE DRESSED APPROPRIATELY FOR THE WEATHER CONDITIONS.
The GP may ask you to send a photographic image via email. The email address that this should be sent to is Clinical.s70997@nhslothian.scot.nhs.uk
Please only send correspondence to this email address if requested by a Clinician. Any unsolicited emails will be deleted without being read.
We would like to thank you for your understanding and co-operation during this time.
If the situation changes we will update you accordingly.
